Anonymous to Other Users
Other users never see who you are or where you are. They only see anonymous crowd counts.
No Movement History
We don't keep a history of where you go. We keep only what's needed to count you in and out of places.

You sign in with Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We never see or store your password.

Drop uses background location to count you in and out of geofenced areas even when the app is closed. Without this permission, we can't provide accurate real-time crowd data. Your location is only checked when you enter or leave a geofenced area.
Yes, absolutely. We only use your location to add +1 when you enter and -1 when you leave a geofenced area. We don't track your movements, store your location history, or share any identifying information. You're completely anonymous.
Counts are as accurate as the number of Drop users at a location. The more people using Drop, the more accurate our data becomes. We show qualitative levels (Not Busy, Normal, Busy, Very Busy) based on the venue type and size.
Yes! Any user can create events with custom geofences. You'll get access to the Creator Dashboard where you can track attendance, see peak counts, and manage your events.
No. Drop uses Apple's efficient geofencing technology which only activates when you cross a boundary. It doesn't continuously track your location, so battery impact is minimal.
Account deletion is performed directly within the Creator Dashboard sheet in the mobile app. Navigate to the dashboard, scroll to the bottom below your event history, and select Delete Profile. This will immediately and permanently remove your email and all associated event data from our servers.
